What an absolutely amazing couple of days. The stars seemed to align perfectly. The hostel was suprisingly comfortable, the food in the restaurant at the hostel was excellent (they even served beer and wine) and the weather cooperated beautifully.
The Lake O'Hara area is breathtakingly beautiful and definitely warrants many more visits.
The six of us did the Lake McArthur Loop with a sideline to Odary Highline Lookout. Jenn and Kim P. required a siesta at this point so Jana, Kim K., Charlie and Marcella were forced to go on to the Odary Grandview Prospect on their own. Luckily they were kind enough to take pictures for the nappers. We finished the day off with the Lake O'Hara Circuit. Total kilometers hiked was 13.7 (11.6 for Jenn and Kim K.)
The ride home was made much more enjoyable with a stop in Canmore at the Iron Goat restaurant for dinner. Thanks to everyone for making this weekend so enjoyable.
