What a day!! It was hot, it was sunny and it was fun!
We started with a group of 18 people going down the canyon. We saw purple flowers, I know somebody said their name but my memory is blank at this moment. We walked beside the creek's bed, sometimes being in it, on mud, jumping cracks and climbing walls. At one point 4 of the group wanted to go up and the rest wanted to stay down the canyon so we parted ways. I was with the one that stayed down so I will comment on our part of the hike. It was muddy, exciting, going down on our butts, and to my pants' contentment without rips. We had one incident where Donna fell. She was a trooper to continue with the hike (she even slid down the scramble!!!) Sibel had an encounter with mud (knee high), we found bones (dinosaurs??). We walked on a farmer's field and then down the "hill" to go into the canyon again. Quite the hike, full with adventure, laughs, support and best of all enjoyment for the day well spent.
