Write Up:Sometimes you have no choice but to accept what mother nature has to give. On this day it was scattered showers and slushy conditions. All in all it was still a pleasant outing. We stopped at Chester Lake for a break and then proceeded to the Elephant Rocks and also to the first tarn in the Three Lakes Valley. Chester Lake is now frozen and most likely all high mountain lakes. We spotted a female moose and calf both on the drive in and drive out. After the hike we stopped for a quick brew at Woody's in Kananaskis Village. -Marcel
