Write Up:I wasn't sure if we would make it out today because it rained this morning. Then this afternoon it was gorgeous - blue sky, birds chirping, and so I went ahead to the meeting spot in Kensington. Then at exactly 5:45pm, it started to rain. I was amazed that everyoe showed up - we were the weather optimistic hard core rollerbladers. We started off skating fast, we escaped the rain....for a bit. Then as we crossed the Stampede, it poured on us. First time in COC history, at least for me, we went to the Planet on 4th Street and indulged in warm drinks. Have to recommend the Tiger Chai and Hot Chocolate! Then, we called a van-cab and had a lovely ride back to Kensington. Thank you for coming out! Especially for those of you who came from the far end of Calgary! I will be posting this one again, and we will make it to Stanley Park!
