Thank you for all those who came out yesterday in the rain! It was great to see that Reesa and Thomas from Paris and Manitoba made the trip to join us! Thank you to Marko for some great photos! We started our hike at the lakeshore of Lake Louise and left all the tourists behind as we hiked up to the Little Beehive. The view was pretty white - a lot of mist, fog, and clouds. It was hard to believe that there were mountains out there, but just where exactly, was hard to say. Thank goodness for the map at the Little Beehive that explained in detail the whiteness we were looking at. Then we continued hiking to the Teahouse and we were all taken away by Lake Agnes, the beautiful reflection of the mountains in the water, and the warmth and heat of the inside comforts of the Teahouse. What luxury to drink a warm cup of tea! After our well deserved break, we continued to the Big Beehive and were taken back by the variety of whiteness we saw. Quite amazing. I don't think any of us have seen so many different tints of white. The rain did stop eventually and we did see some of the mountains that were hidden earlier. A great day even with the drizzle. Thanks again and see you outside!!
