Grey Cup Sunday wasn’t all about football as 23 enthusiastic COC’ers made their way to the NSD Centre Sunday evening for a solid 2 hour ball hockey workout. Team Red opened the scoring early in the first but soon found themselves in a hole after an impressive 4 goal outburst by the Green squad midway through the frame. Teams traded goals multiple times throughout the 2nd and 3 periods before a late game surge by Red resulted in the lead changing hands for the last time. With just minutes to go and Red sporting a comfortable 3 goal lead, Green made one final push to even the score but fell just short losing a heartbreaker 15-14. A very exciting finish indeed as both teams gave it their all while keeping the mood light. Thanks so much for joining me tonight, it was a great time!
