What a great season on the lagoon! For the first time in my four year history coordinating this event we were able to skate well into March as unseasonably cool temperatures kept the lagoon open a solid 2 weeks later than normal. We managed to get out 12 times over the course of the winter and enjoyed plenty of delicious home baking, great conversation and my signature roaring bon fires in the process! lol. Special thanks to Gail and Lois for taking the time to whip up some yummy treats for our finale tonight. They really hit the spot after we had our fill of tenderly roasted hot dogs! Thanks so much to all who joined me this evening and helped make it my most enjoyable skate of the year!
