Write Up:What a beautiful day for a hike up to Plateau Mountain! Our group headed south of Calgary past the scenic towns of Okotoks and Black Diamond to gravel roads and winter gates, I am surprised no one got lost! I headed out at the front of the line with others and we hiked non stop for 1h30mins until we got to the top and past the first fork in the road. We decided to stop hiking and rest, eat lunch, and Marcus built a fantastic snowman! Once we had all regrouped, we headed in a variety of directions, but most members crossed the Plateau for the other side to find beautiful views! The dogs were the bravest, exploring the lower portions of the Plateau walls! A brisk walk back and a stop for ice cream made it a perfect day! Thanks to all who came out with us today!
