Write Up:
Week 11 of our spring season featured yet another nail biter as two very evenly matched teams battled long and hard throughout a 3 period 100+ minute marathon for a shot at Lord Stanley's Cup! Our goaltenders were phenomenal as Boodie played net for the Green squad while Doug stepped up for Gold. Both tenders made plenty of great saves giving their respective teams a chance to win right up until the final buzzer. I promised Doug I wouldn’t write anything about me scoring the winner on him late in the 3rd so all I can tell you is Green managed to squeak out a narrow 12-11 victory tonight. Thanks to all for demonstrating great sportsmanship and keeping it fun for everyone. It was a blast as usual.
