The temperature was great at just a few degrees below 0. Unfortunately there was lots of new snow and it was hard to get the wax right especially on the way up. Lots of snow stuck to the bottom of our skies.
On the way up, the group had to come back and get me (Jason). Thankfully Gary had some solvent to remove the wax.
Once the wax was removed we were able to ski at a decent speed, and the day worked out well.
In total we skied 20 km.
