Write Up:It was a real thrill to get up to Elbow Lake in November. Wow -- lot's of snow! It's a beautiful place in any season. We hiked up to the lake and through the campground but the snow was too deep to do a circuit of the lake so we wandered a short ways up towards the glacier looking for a lunch spot. Turns out the best lunch spot at this time of year would have been at the lake. For the return trip, we took turns sliding on the crazy carpets back down the hill. Many thanks to all who came out today - it was a pleasure and great deal of fun to spend the day with you. Thank you also to Luc for taking over carpool for me - without your assistance this trip would not have happened.
