Same photo album and write up all days.

The Weather ... O.M.G., sunshine and not a chance of rain for days! Snow on the ground just seven days ago. There was lots of traffic due to the CBC Book Sale three blocks east at the Calgary Curling Club. All the ingredients were there, especially the enthusiastic volunteers. Special codos go to Julee who worked the front yard. You worked magic with those big ticket items. Again we realize that the most precious thing in the production this weekend is the giving of so many sincere and caring volunteers. Their time and effort is truly priceless. Thank you! More than one or two of you cancelled on a volleyball tournament to help out. Then there was the Mother’s Day coincidence/conflict on Sunday. Kathleen and Lydia from “The Seed” dropped in on Sunday morning and came with an overwhelming little something (see the last picture). Here are some of the folks that made life better for the volunteers this time round.

• The major contribution of beautiful merchandise by Donna Ritchie and Brian Lehman Estate Sale Pros. Check them out! http://www.whatsitworthbrian.com/estatesales.html
• Travis at Coco Brooks continues to provide delicious food support every sale. http://www.cocobrooks.com/
• Lynn at COI (Contemporary Office Interiors) provides carpets and more that saves my lawn and patrons feet from permanent damage. http://www.contemporary.ab.ca/about-us.asp
• Thanks to Sunnyside Safeway for again helping feed the volunteers on Sunday.
• My sister Dolores for Saturday chilli.
• My neighbours who face traffic jams, cars blocking their driveways ... and their many donations to the sale and ... their buying power!!!!!
• The customers. Many of you were as generous as ever, more than generous! There were the usual predators. Let’s just say there’ll always be a few wolves in sheep’s clothing. Surprise is they definitely do come out in the daylight.
• To everyone else “Thank you”!!! The result is $7,125.88 donated to The Mustard Seed. REMEMBER ... every penny went to them!!!!
