Write Up:How lucky were we to get to enjoy even more then just a few of our favourite things at
Burstall Pass today! As hoped for, the sky was blue, the meadows were colorful and we saw
every peak there was to be seen. It was nice to see the alluvial flat section mostly dry so there
was no need for a footwear change. Mount Assiniboine could not have been more
spectacular. We continued along the trail a bit further to where we had a great view of Leman
Lake down below. Lunchtime was a leisurely 45 minutes enjoying the scenery and sun.
