Write Up:SAME WRITEUP AND PHOTOS ALL DAYS
An event such as this needs a few core ingredients. Good weather, lots of volunteers, paying customers and great stuff. We had these bases covered and this was a record breaker. $12,080.71 was donated to The Mustard Seed.
The weather was phenomenal. More quality items than ever before. We had the high end merchandise, professionally appraised, courtesy of Brian Lehman. Check out the photos. I even parted with my Gary Fisher hard tail MTB.
We also had the best quality of volunteers, consisting of the reliable veterans and all star first timers. Donna brought her professional expertise Saturday. Daniel came down from Edmonton with a knack of finding a good home for so many “unique and unusual” items. It is hard work but the volunteers tell me they enjoyed it too. I am always short a few volunteers, I hope you will consider joining us next year and bring some friends! The more the merrier ... literally.
