Tue, Jul 16 2013 - Mountain Bike - Eastlands Area Trails (by COP) (View Original Event Details)
|
This ride was a lot of fun!
The event was well attended with 22 souls coming out.
The COP Eastlands Area is a great 'in city' venue for mountain biking.
With such a large group, I split the group into two smaller defined groups to which Bingo took the speedier riders.
With this done we set off in different directions and did not see each other’s group while out on the trails.
The group to which I was directing was an awesome clan.
We were led through some sweet trails thanks to our appointed guide Mark Archer, special thanks!
As per my written itinerary for the event, our pace was geared towards fun, not torture.
I was informed there was a little torturing being applied by my cohort Bingo while leading the speedier gang.
Oh well, boohoo, que sera, sera (whatever will be, will be), next time you can ride with my more fun group;)
There were some great smiles & appreciation's given after the ride ended to which I am grateful!
A large group following the event headed to the Sandman's watering hole across the highway for rehydration and a good time ;)
Hope to see you all again soon,
James
