Fri, Jan 20 2006 - Edworthy Park (View Original Event Details)
|
Seven of us hiked this little known trail west of Edworthy Park following just south of the railway tracks and going up and down little hills, with great views of the Bow River. We crossed over at the Bowness bridge and headed back via Shouldice Park, completing the loop. We didn't need to use our icers after all, but there was one steeper slippery part that took a little longer to climb up, and this spot was quite icy and dangerous last year. Next time we'll do the same route but backwards. Hike took 1:45 to do.
