ST sure is towards the difficult end of the moderate-rated scrambles with some route-finding challenges, but also provides a lot of fun scrambling.

We started off at the dry creek bed just east of Harvey Heights, and had to stay on the right bank with big fallen trees in the creek. Like many other scramblers, we briefly lost our direction with all the seemingly right trails. Once had the target in view again, we were able to head up straight in the trees and gained the ridge ASAP. Staying on the ridge was straightforward with a short exposed section close to the top. The slabs at the bottom of the summit block are very steep but the rocks on one side give good hand holds.

Thanks everyone for coming out on a great scramble and bringing the wonderful team spirit! You can image all the laughs we had around this unofficial name!
