Write Up:"The most visited canyon in the Rockies" continues to attract many visitors even on a weekday in september. Everyone on the hike had been to Johnston Canyon, but the Ink Pots was a new experience for quite a few. And they didn't disappoint - with lots of bubbling little inky jets appearing. Not a speck of snow was to be seen on the entire route and the trail was surprisingly dry. Next time we'd like to have the bagpipes!
