The first thing at carpool this morning, I made sure everyone knew there was a weather alert for where we were going. The drivers were confident and prepared and game to go, as were the rest of us.
We had a gorgeous autumn for the morning portion and a beautiful winter wonderland for the afternoon. The snow started as we packed up after lunch. We made the best of our day. The vast mountain scenery was not there so we became the colorful scenery. We took time to enjoy what was close up rather than far away.
Thank you to Jim for the delicious homemade cookies. A big thanks to Hermann and Randy for driving today especially given the conditions facing us as we left the Upper Kananaskis Lake parking lot and all the way to the main highway. Thank you to everyone for letting your cheerful personalities shine bright.
