Write Up:According to the forecast the day before, we should have enjoyed a very balmy, -4
degree
hike, however when we arrived at the trailhead it was a very, very, chilly -22 degrees!
Luckily we were all prepared for the extreme drop in temperature and still enjoyed the
spectacular day! Due to the extreme cold my phone/camera gave up about 30 minutes
into the hike, fortunately we had a professional
photographer with us! It took about two hours to get to the Ink Pots and then we spent a
leisurely three hours afterwards exploring Johnston Canyon and taking pictures. A million
thanks to Randy for driving and for his amazing photos!
