Our first gallery was TrepanierBaer with photographs by Vikky Alexander. She had four series including two in Instanbul and Paris of taking pictures of store windows with the streetscape reflected in them. We had fun in Inglewood later trying this ourselves. The exhibit was made more interesting as the gallery manager spent some time explaining her work to us.
We then walked over to Endeavour Arts but the gallery was closed so we carried on to Inglewood and stopped first at Dade gallery. There were beautiful black and white photos taken by one photographer in Croatia and another in NYC. Dade also has very interesting furniture and accessories on display for sale.
We then went to Robinson Camera and viewed mountain landscape photography. The staff there was helpful too in explaining the exhibit.
Our day also included a coffee break and return to downtown along the Bow River in the sunshine.
