A wild and wet day for a snowshoe - strong winds and constant rain showers/wet snow made for an interesting climb up Blueberry hill. The warm temperatures and rain made for a wet, heavy snow pack with most trails had a coating of ice. Using an existing path we made record time to the top in 2 hours. After a hasty lunch while being sheltered (some what) by some trees we all headed straight down arriving at the parking lot in an hour. A short stay at the Pocaterra hut helped the group dry off and warm up.
