Write Up:We started in fresh, deep snow at the bottom of the Lower Tram -Line. The track hadn't been groomed or track-set after the last snow dump. Moraine Lake road was track-set, the grip was good for the first few kilometers uphill, later it was more and more difficult. The tracks got somewhat icy. We turned around at different points, for totals between 18km and 24km.
Lower tramline was track-set going down.
Overall a good start into the season, a good group and a nice apres ski at the hostel.
