Sat, Jun 17 2006 - North Ribbon Creek to Memorial Lakes - Marg's group (View Original Event Details)
|
Our group stopped at the falls and all agreed it's a terrific hike even if only to that point. Next time I think it is important to note that there are several areas of steeper elevation gain and loss - and if doing it as a slowpoke/photo hike I'd suggest allowing at least 5 hours. The greatest challenge was crossing the primitive log "bridge" over the raging spring run-off. There is a spot that I think is much better just down stream from there. This is a hike worth repeating several times through the season for sure.
