Write Up:It was a tough choice to wait til the start of the event before making a decision whether to continue through with the event or not - but I got to Sunnyside at 5:15pm and stared at the black clouds whuch were loaming over Safeway. They were not moving too fast south, but they were spreading east, and that was all the reassurance I needed. Then the fact that nine others also showed up made the decision simpler. What a great evening for a skate. Blue sky, light wind, hardly anyone else out there,...a perfect combination to skate hard!
We zoomed to Edworthy, then took our time heading back towards Eau Claire. We kept on going towards the zoo and stopped at Ben and Jerry's - next time I will order a cup, although the waffle cone was De-Lish!
It was great to roll around again after a few rainy breaks!
