Hiked in to Carnarvon Lake for the weekend only to find a horde of people already camped out on the shores of the lake. Climbed up the short trail to the pass to find a beautiful meadow with a nearby creek so we set up camp there instead overlooking the lake and the mountains. Gorgeous weather, slight bit of haze but nothing significant. The chains were a bit challenging but nothing too tough the group couldn't handle.
