Write Up:Taking into consideration all the Parks Canada restrictions throughout the whole area where we
ventured into today, we were still able to cover loads of ground making a gigantic fat loop and
keeping our event at a D7 rating. We were out there long enough that we encountered two snow
squalls, numerous times of intermittent snow flurries, sunshine, bitter cold, blue sky, wind gusts
and enough warmth. The mix of freshly fallen snow and larch trees still in the prime of their life
created dreamy scenery. The photography opportunities were plentiful and splendid and we
took full advantage of that. For some of us this was the third Saturday in a row for prime larch
viewing, how fortunate we are. Thank you Tanya for helping me with the driving and also
welcome to the Calgary Outdoor Club. I hope to share time in the mountains again with you and
the rest of our group. Thank you all for sharing in making this a pleasure filled day. Andra
