Write Up:The big snowfall yesterday out in this area provided us with wonderful conditions for our
snowshoe adventure into Fox Lake. Mick was our trailbreaker for the majority of the trek. We
gladly followed him when he veered in a different direction than we had been in the past. An
added twist away from the familiar route is always nice. Our route today consisted of official
snowshoe trails, a bit of route finding while bushwhacking and also following along beside X-C
Ski trails. There were no tracks neither groomed nor set. We met only four x-c skiers the entire
day and no other snowshoers. What a peaceful pretty place to play. Thank you Mick for being
our driver today and getting us safely to and from the trailhead. Thank you all for joining me and
sharing in making this a fun day out in our mountain playground. I hope to swish through the
