Write Up: I recommend this hike as a MUST DO! Great blue sky and 30 degrees on our day. Up the switch backs and in what seemed no time at all, a little break in the trees, the lake far below. Onward to the pass. One break at the rock picinic and wash room place. On the way up to the pass itself, We saw a WOLVERINE navigate a patch of snow on it's way over the pass. GREAT GROUP! All 12 were close, and Ed, ONLY 84 years old, was right with the front of the pack. Thanks members for making this unforgettable hike the best.
