Write Up:This was an excellent weather day - a little cool in the morning and
warm in the sunshine later on. We took about 3 hours to get up to the
4th lake, using a good steady pace with a number of stops to look at
the ever-expanding vista below and beyond us. This was conducted on a
Friday and the trail was getting busy in the afternoon. The parking
lot was full when we returned about 2:40. If you are planning to do
this great hike, start early.
