The day started off chilly and foggy but it all burned off before lunch. There was a dusting of snow on the trees and in the morning there was ice forming on the lake. Vista Lake was our first stop as we enjoyed the view from the bridge. We then hiked up to Arnica Lake which was surrounded by yellow colored larches. It started to get muddy on the way to Upper Twin Lake where we crossed a natural bridge made of large rocks taking us further to Lower Twin Lake and Twin Falls where we stopped for lunch and admired Storm Mountain. This is the only hike I have done that was both a steep hike on the way there and back.
Another great day in the mountains with adventurous people!
