Write Up:It was a scorcher today! The parking lot was full by 9am. It was
straight up right from the beginning and then turned to gradual rolling
hills up to peak 5. A couple guys in our group made it to the bottom of
the ridge. We enjoyed lunch surrounded by many peaks. The trail was
dry for most of the hike with small patches of snow towards the top. It
was a tough grind in the heat as it was 26 degrees by the time we were
done. It is definitely tick season as there was one trying to catch a
ride in my backpack.
