Write Up:Sunshine Meadows can rival Larch valley for the number and beauty of the larches, even with a lunch time snow storm. Easy meandering hike that takes you by several lakes, lots of larches and some amazing views especially when the sun peaked through. Definitely a photographers paradise.
Carl the Sunshine bus driver is a pro with lots of information and he stopped for us hitching a ride on the road. A fun day, lots of laughs, snow, sun, larches, 2 ptarmigans (almost in their winter white) a mouse, many stops to admire the views and to end it all dinner at the Drake in Canmore with Char the best waitress.
