Write Up:
Flight conditions looked really good this morning - partly cloudy & SW winds. The movement of birds was slow at first but increased in numbers throughout the day. Soon they were flying everywhere - over the meadow as well as their usual route over Mt Lorette and "Patrick." A BIG THANKS! to Cliff, the researcher on site today, for your friendly welcome and all the information you shared with us throughout the afternoon. A very enjoyable and interesting afternoon. The total count of golden eagles reached close to 100 by the time we left just prior to 4:00pm.
