Write Up:A heavy cloud cover made for rather ominous-looking weather as we were setting off. However, we managed to complete the circuit with only a few spitters - and the cool temps and moist air made for incredibly lovely fresh smells and comfortable hiking conditions. I LOVE THIS TRAIL! and am quite sure that I will be repeating this one over and over. I think we missed parts of the loop - we just made it up as we went along - and I'm pretty sure was less than 10-12km. A full 2hr hike tho - very enjoyable - and about all I wanted to hike with my fully loaded backpack.
