Write Up:Well... the afternoon downpour caused a slight speed bump in the number of attendees but overall we had a very good mix of people coming along.
The walk started off downhill - literally when we went south instead of north! But we did discovered that there isn't a path along sandy beach to the dam and we got some exercise out of climbing back out of the hill ( it was planned all along to do this LOL).
The weather for the walk was really nice, clear skies, cool weather, no bugs. Crossing the Glenmore Dam was a treat. Wandering around the Bel-Aire neighbourhood was an even bigger feast for the eyes with a lot of ooohhing and ahhing over the million dollar homes (and promises of visiting the Lotto centre more often). Desmond wanted to revisit the Ferrari that we saw but he was vetoed by the girls (we need more guys on the trip!). Sunny the Sheltie was shy but really adorable and soon warmed up to us (mostly).
After the walk we sent to a nearby pub on 42 ave (I forget the name) with a few (food and drinks was not bad!) and had a really nice evening after that. Hope to see everyone else on a walk again soon.
