Although it was raining when we first started, it cleared in about half an hour - and then we had fantastic weather for an incredible hike. It took us exactly five hours to complete the 16 kms circuit (which seemed more than 20 but the map says 16). We reached the waterfalls at the end of the lake after less than 1.5 hours; they were fairly dark, but still impressive. The views of the mountains all along the path were spectacular. We stopped by the lake for lunch after passing the berry patch. We made a fair bit of noise, and avoided any possible encounters with berry loving creatures. Everyone agreed that it was a very scenic hike. We also had a good workout, with lots of undulations. Chester was the only male, but he was a very good sport. A super group and a great hike.
