Write Up:This time it was not gale force winds; rather it was a blizzard that greeted nine COC hearty souls who were ready to get out and explore Bowmont Park. It was a good decision - with fifteen minutes or so, the snow stopped, the wind died down, and we had very pleasant conditions for our hike in the park. We traveled on both the paved and dirt paths, saw the springs (waterfalls), and got a reasonable workout given the conditions. Unfortunately, there wasn't much of a sunset although we spotted a touch of red in the sky. Everyone enjoyed meeting each other, and my thanks to all those who made it such a pleasant evening.
Back at the cars just after 8 pm, we probably covered 7 or so kms.
