Write Up:Well we didn't get to C-Level Cirque; the trail was in very poor condition, so after some discussion, we drove out to the Barrier Lake information centre to get some ideas. Skogan pass was the recommended trail - so we set off on this one. We made it to the Hummingbird Plume lookout just in time for lunch. It was a good climb - some 425 metres, and we were ready for a break. The view is fantastic. And the crocuses were abundant. We also saw wild orchids - very tiny, and some other beautiful flowers (Liz I need your help). We stopped at Troll Falls - which had turned the creek into a raging torrent. What a beautiful spot. As there were some dark clouds rolling in, we decided to cut short the hike, and were back at the cars just as the rain started. We hiked a net gain of 465 metres, over about 12 kms. As we were back a little earlier than planned, we stopped at the Lodge for beer and snacks. A terrific group and a great day. Thanks to all and hope to see you again soon.
