Write Up:
It was a tad cool at the start of the trip but once we hit the climb up Quaite we were quite happy for the cool breeze. We met lots of hikers coming down Jewell, but they were quite happy to cheer us on. As usual, the top part of Jewell was quite muddy but from there on the trails were dry.
: The climb up Prairie View seemed relatively easy as we cut off before we hit the last couple of big climbs. We took the old Bow race course or Wiley Coyote as we like to call it for a challenging downhill. Lucky for us the roots were all dry as I find this one of the most challenging trails in the kananaskis area. From the bottom we got lucky and found an excellent trail that took us back over to the Heart Creek trail head. It can be quite confusing to find the route back from the scout camp.
: The total trip was about 28kms and we did it in 2:47 riding time.

: After the ride we had a bbq at my house and a few riders from Ursulas and Marty's trip joined us. Excellent day.
