FANTASTIC!
Yet another glorious day of rafting on the Bow! A fun group of 11 turned out for today's event and they were not disappointed. As usual we set sail from Bowness Park around 12:30pm and docked along the shores of Edworthy Park approximately 90 minutes later. We then grabbed a bite at Angels and relaxed awhile before departing around 3:00pm. The next 90 minutes saw several of us abandon the boats for a refreshing dip and we even got in a little ultimate aqua Frisbee :) Before we knew it the trip was over and we found ourselves back at the carpool location. (I swear it goes by faster every time). Finally after retrieving our vehicles the entire group agreed to meet up at The Seanachie Irish Pub in Westhills for dinner where we took advantage of our Sport VIP cards earning us a pitcher of beer and 40 wings for just $8.00! By 9:00pm we had filled our tummmies, enjoyed plenty of great conversation and witnessed some exciting olympic coverage on the pub's big screen. All in all another great day with a fantastic group of people!
