Write Up:What a beautiful evening for a summer urban hike. Although the clouds robbed us of a spectacular sunset, seven of us had a really good walk through Bowmont Park. We first stopped to see the springs, and then paused at the river before starting the trek up and down the hills on the north east side of the park. We covered about 6 kms over in just under 1.5 hours, and were back at the cars by 9 pm. A super group - thanks for coming out. Welcome Ruth to the club; hope you enjoy many more activities with us.
