When we arrived at Lake Louise the temperature was -8, but the windchill made it feel like -17. It didn't take long for people to warm up once we started up the trail. The scene that awaited us was a winter wonderland. When we stopped for lunch at the Tea House, we were greeted by a virtual blizzard. People were huddled under blankets and rushing to put on additional layers. It only goes to show how important it is that we be prepared for all types of weather. We had an uneventful trip down, had a quick look at the ice sculptures and ended the day with a coffee/hot chocolate/goodie at the bakery. A wonderful day, all in all. Thanks to everybody for joining me!
