An absolutely glorious day - in fact, I think I may have gotten a bit of a burn on my shoulders. There was quite a bit of snow and ice on the trail yet, so if you're thinking of doing it, make sure you bring your ice cleats. Half the group climbed up Powderface Ridge after lunch while the rest of us communed with nature a little bit longer. No ticks or bears today (that I know of). Two new nicknames, "Wrong Way Enrique" and "Fuller Farcash" were assigned ("Fuller Farcash" being Glen's "porn star name" according to the formula for determining one's porn star name.... many of us are anxiously awaiting what he'll do for our next nickname party). OK, actually THREE new nicknames, since Ian M (Ian #2) was dubbed "Chippendale" in his absence, since he's the only dude signed up for Strippercize on May 3rd. Strider put us all to shame with his energy, but then, the rest of us weren't fueled by snausages, either... perhaps he knows something we don't know? Lastly, thanks to Beth, we avoided the sticky cracks.
