Write Up:We bushwhacked and bushwhacked and bushwhacked some more. At the end we even found the official Lower Lake trail, though the Kananaskis Canyon, which we originally planned on seeing, remained elusive. Better luck to us next time, but we had great luck with the weather: a constant -5C all day and gorgeous sun in the morning. This is how every year should start. Thanks to a great group for making this yet another fun day out in the mountains.
