Week 21!

Once again a highly entertaining evening of COC dodge ball. Teams of 9 competed in the usual 20 game round robin tournament followed by a semi-final and medal playoff round. Chicken Balls and Senator Spice Balls finished with identical 6-4 records with 1st place honours going to Chicken Balls due to their winning round robin record against Senator Spice Balls. Balls U followed close behind with a 5-5 record followed by Black Balled at 3-7.

In the semi-finals it was all about the underdogs as the last place Black Balled swept first place Chicken Balls in 2 straight games to advance to the gold medal series. In the other series it was 3rd place Balls U upsetting 2nd place Senator Spice Balls in two straight.

The bronze medal round saw two evenly matched teams who shared identical 6-4 round robin records face off against one another in a grueling 3 game series. The teams split the first two games and required a 3rd to decide a winner. It was a highly entertaining series with Chicken Balls coming out on top to capture bronze while Senator Spice Balls settled for the participation pin.

The gold medal series lasted just 2 games as Balls U played like a team possessed crushing any hopes Black Balled had of a Cinderella Story finish. Hats off to Black Balled for a great effort tonight and congratulations to Balls U on your gold medal finish!
