Write Up:
We arrived to the rim of the Horseshoe Canyon to be greeted by some pretty strong winds. We bundled up and headed down. The wind kept at it for about an hour but then it subsided. We explored the canyon for 4 hours. We walked, jumped, leaped, scurried and slid. A big thanks to Marcel for his navigation and sense of adventure! After the hike some of us extended the event by going to the saloon in Wayne. The drive in was pretty and not far out of Drumheller. The saloon certainly had character. "We should come home from adventures, and perils, and discoveries everyday with new experience and character" -Henry David Thoreau- Thank you to everyone for an enjoyable day:)
