Week 31 ~ SEASON FINALE ~
A record setting crowd of 46 attended tonight’s dodge ball finale at St Stephen Junior High School. For the first time ever we went with teams of 11 and I have to admit it was probably the most fun I’ve had yet. The atmosphere was phenomenal, the intensity was through the roof and the enthusiasm was unprecedented. It was an incredible night and a great way to finish off a very successful season.
Afterwards almost all of us headed over to BP’s for our usual debriefing. It was really nice to see so many there and as I reflect upon the evening the one thing that comes to mind is how comfortable everyone was with each other. The numerous friendships that have developed over the course of the season were very evident in the atmosphere at the pub tonight. You could really feel a sense of family within the group and it is ultimately what I enjoy most about the COC, the people. It is the incredible individuals I meet time after time that inspire and motivate me to coordinate so many events like this. I hope you all had as much fun as I did and I look forward to seeing you back next season.
