One of the objectives of the Calgary Outdoor Training Program in 2009 is to provide educational sessions where members can learn about different aspects of the outdoors. Come on out to this bike clinic. You don't need to bring anything, although the first 11 members who sign up can bring their bikes as it's a combined - presentation & hands on. Learn what a Bike Mechanic looks for when they are preparing to give a bike Tune Up. Learn some simple steps that you can take yourself to keep your bike running smoothly. You will leave the class with a basic understanding of your bike and how to ask the right questions if you have your bike serviced. The clinic will be in the loading bay area towards the northwest side of the parking lot. It's outside but covered, and the space works great with the bikes. It's also relatively quiet. MEC has kindly offered to provide this presentation for COC members only, not open to the general public, therefore, please only sign up if you're 100% sure of attending-No shows willbe recorded. | |||||
