Itinerary:
It is supposed to be around 8 degrees on Friday. The roads will be snow free, but there will be some gravel and maybe some wet spots, but lets get riding!
We will start on the Horse Creek Road. It winds north and west to almost the north end of the Grand Valley road. Follow the Grand Valley Road south to the 1A again, then back to cochrane. There is an option for a few more km's at the north end.
The pace will not be real fast, but you should be able to keep an average speed above 20 km/hr. Distance is 45-50 km of foothills valley roads. No long climbs, but a number of small hills. Very nice scenery with ranches and acreages and the Rockies for a backdrop.

Required Items to Bring:
Road bike or hybrid. Helmet - No exceptions. Water, snack, tools. Extra tubes.
Cycling clothing appropriate for cooler temperatures and possibility of cold breezes or wind.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Extra foldable tire

How to Get There:
Event Directions:West of Cochrane on Hwy 1A and West of the intersection with Hwy 22. Turn south on a road from the 1A just west of where the Horse Creek Road (signed) goes north. We will meet on that road on the south side where it widens - 100-200 meters south.
